During the summer holidays of 1937, in one of the happenings organized by the Fouquets in the French Riviera, a young American student who had been invited was so captivated by these essences that he asked Albert to give him one for personal use. The young American student was John F. Kennedy, and the connection between the two was instant. The next morning at the hotel reception John found a pack with the following note: “In this bottle, you will find the touch of French glamour that your American personality lacks.”. JFK responded by asking
for eight more samples and “another for Bob”. An incomprehensible yet humorous request that was granted with eight beautiful glass bottles labeled as Eight & Bob. Thus began the history of a brand characterized by French elegance and know-how, and American charm and daring.

For the shooting of the new glasses packaging, we aimed for art direction reflecting luxury and glamour through the color and quality of the materials, as well as a nod to audacity through the brutalist use of a rock from the French Riviera.
